Imperiscope is an independent publication covering geopolitics, hidden history, and the machinery of empire. We work from the premise that power is rarely exercised where it is announced — and that the map you are shown is seldom the map that matters.

Our method is documentary, not speculative. We read the budget lines, the declassified cables, the shipping manifests, the footnotes of official histories. Power leaves a paper trail; our job is to follow it. Every claim we publish is sourced, and every source is listed.

We are not conspiracists. Conspiracy theory assumes hidden coordination where ordinary incentive will do. Most of what passes for secrecy is simply complexity that nobody has been paid to explain — so we explain it: coldly, carefully, and on the record.
